The Word Among Us app does not have a way to delete old issues from the app.
We specifically designed the app to use very little space on your mobile device. Issues are automatically archived after two years. While this might seem like it would take up space, The Word Among Us app actually uses less memory than most apps on Google Play.
For example, The New York Times (which doesn't allow you to view past issues) takes on average 275MB of memory. The Word Among Us on average uses 50MB with all issues downloaded.
If you'd like to learn more about memory usage on your mobile device, you can navigate to The WAU Mass app icon, hold your finger on the icon until the pop up menu appears, and then tap on App Info. You will see how little space is being used by our app.
If you are still concerned about space usage, deleting and reinstalling the app will remove old issues and only the current issue will be downloaded with the app re-install.
